Empowering Independence, Building Community

Supporting Adults to Live With Independence and Purpose

At DPC, we offer tailored supported accommodation for adults aged 18 and over who may be living with learning difficulties, mental health challenges, or complex needs. Our mission is to help individuals thrive—not just survive—as they take their next steps into independent living within the community.

We’re proud of the high standards of care and support we provide, shaped by a deeply committed multi-disciplinary team. This includes qualified Social Workers, Teachers, Mental Health Specialists, and experienced support staff. Each individual referred to us benefits from a holistic, person-centred approach that addresses their unique needs and aspirations.

Specialist Support in a Homely Environment

Our supported living homes are based across East Anglia, Suffolk, Essex, Buckinghamshire, and the Midlands. Each accommodation typically houses no more than four residents, with some offering a 1:1 setting where required. This low staff-to-resident ratio allows for genuine, trusting relationships to develop and ensures that every person receives the focused support they need.

Staff are present day and night, including sleep-in support to respond to any challenges that may arise. This round-the-clock presence brings security and consistency, especially for those adjusting to independent living after time in residential care, hospital settings, or crisis accommodation.

A Focus on Growth, Wellbeing and Belonging

Our dedicated support team includes professionals who focus specifically on health & wellbeing, daily living skills, and community participation. Together, they work with residents to build confidence, promote self-care, and develop essential life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and managing a home.

We don’t just offer a place to live—we provide a stepping stone to a more fulfilling, connected life. Every home is designed to feel welcoming and supportive, helping individuals feel safe while encouraging personal growth and autonomy.

Staying Connected

Relationships built during a placement don’t have to end when someone moves on. Many of our former residents continue to stay in touch with staff for advice, reassurance, or just a familiar face. We offer ongoing outreach support and a pathway into our community services for those who need a longer-term support structure.

More Than a Home—A Bridge to Community Living

Our supported accommodation is more than just housing; it’s about enabling adults to live with dignity, independence, and choice. By equipping them with the skills and confidence they need, and embedding support into their daily lives, we help them become active, valued members of their communities.
